How can I install TeamViewer 12 on Ubuntu machine??

TeamViewer is used to connect remotely machine over the internet. For this we need TeamViewer installed on the machine.
Here you will learn how to install Teamviewer 12 on Ubuntu machine. Here we will use the commands to install it.

Required:

1. TeamViewer at both end pc.
2. Working Internet

1. Download TeamViewer

Download the TeamViewer 12 package from its official website. Run the below command:

 # wget https://download.teamviewer.com/download/teamviewer_i386.deb

2. Download Dependencies for TeamViewer

Install the dependencies for the TeamViewer. After it, will install the downloaded teamviewer package.

# apt-get install libjpeg62:i386 libxtst6:i386

3. Install TeamViewer 12 Package

We have installed the dependencies for the TeamViewer. Now its time to install the TeamViewer package. Execute the below command.

# dpkg -i teamviewer_i386.deb

dpkg indicates missing dependencies. To install the missing dependencies, use the below command:

# apt-get install -f

Now, Teamviewer 12 is installed. Just type the teamviewer in the terminal and teamviewer application will be launch.

# teamviewer

First time after the installation, it will ask to accept the license agreement. As shown in the below snapshot.

It is successfully installed. You just need to confirm remote computer’s teamviewer partner id and password.
